About the author
Before the works, there is a life in the making.
Author. Founder. Mentor. A body of work in development, guided by effort, maturity, purpose and faith.
Chapter I · A life in the making
Diego Alberto Souza is an author, founder and mentor. His work explores effort, emotional maturity, discipline, faith, responsibility and the building of purpose.
Through books, mentorship experiences and digital projects, Diego develops an integrated vision of personal transformation: knowledge must produce practice; practice must produce character; and character must produce impact beyond the individual.
As the founder of God's Project, he works on building a digital ecosystem dedicated to a daily relationship with God.
His journey remains in development, connecting writing, technology, spirituality, sport, events and initiatives devoted to human growth.
Chapter II · A legacy in the making
More than writing books, Diego Alberto Souza devotes his life to building projects that inspire people to live with more purpose, maturity, discipline and faith. Each work is born of the conviction that a single decision can completely change a story — and that true success is measured by the positive impact we leave in the lives of others.
That vision gave rise not only to his books, but also to God's Project, an ecosystem created to help thousands of people develop a daily relationship with God and discover the purpose for which they were created. For Diego, technology, knowledge and faith can walk together when they are used to serve people and to build something that lasts across generations.
His mission is only beginning. Every book written, every project developed and every person reached represents another step in building a legacy that inspires others to live with courage, excellence and purpose. The greatest achievement of a life, he believes, is not what we accumulate, but the transformation we help awaken in the people around us.

What sport teaches when no one is watching
Discipline, repetition, humility and resilience stop being concepts and become practice.
For Diego, surfing was never just a sport.
It was one of the places where God worked most on his character. Between the silence of the ocean, the strength of the waves and the beauty of creation, the reflections were born that would later give rise to his books, projects and the mission he now shares with thousands of people.
The sea became an environment where discipline met humility. Where courage met patience. Where purpose met direction. And where faith stopped being merely an idea and became a lived experience.
The photographs in this gallery aren't only sporting moments. They tell part of the journey that helped shape the author behind this body of work.
Chapter · The ocean
The sea became one of the greatest teachers of his life.
Among all the experiences that shaped his journey, surfing became one of the greatest teachers of Diego's life. Facing the vastness of the ocean, he discovered that some of the deepest lessons are not learned in books, but lived in silence, constancy and respect for timing.
The sea teaches that not everything is under our control. There are days of calm water and days of demanding waves. Days when we face fear, currents, fatigue and difficulties that make us more prepared for what is still to come. There are moments to wait, moments to paddle with determination, and moments to simply trust.
Slowly, Diego realized that this dynamic mirrored the journey of life itself. Just like the ocean, we too pass through phases of calm, phases of waiting and phases that require the courage to cross waves that seem bigger than us. It was exactly in those challenges that some of the greatest lessons about discipline, perseverance, humility, maturity and faith were born.
In many of those moments, surrounded only by the sound of the ocean and the beauty of creation, reflections arose that would later find their place in his books, projects and in the mission he now shares with thousands of people. Contact with nature became a constant invitation to slow down, to observe, to give thanks and to strengthen his connection with God.
For Diego, surfing was never just a sport. It became an environment of character formation, emotional balance and contemplation. A permanent reminder that true growth happens when we learn to live in harmony with what truly matters.
Each person will find that place in a different way. For some it will be surfing. For others, a walk, running, the mountains, music, reading, or any activity that lets them quiet the noise of the world enough to hear again what gives life meaning. What matters is not the activity itself, but reserving moments that strengthen the body, renew the mind and bring the heart closer to God, to nature and to the purpose for which each person was created.
